Bionique - 2010

released: Under Gradual Release on One Eyed Magician (OEMGT-200902)

This album has been long hard work and still is at time of writing, the story here is that I have been trying to make this album while getting a job and working as a full-time graphic designer so finding nieches of time in which to make the recordings is difficult. So instead of doing a full re-lease (which would never be 2010) I am releasing tracks one at a time when they are finished so you can check back to see whats new or pre-order the finished album.

Anyway about the album... Well I wanted to do an instrumental rock album without the synths I so heavily relied on in my demo recordings: "Ancient Imagery" and "Elementum". SO the rule here was simple, no synths, and so far that has been the case. However to make this more interesting I have dispersed various voice recordings throughout the songs, this is to promote your curiosity as to what the songs are about and fill that small gap left by synthesisers.

I also used this album as an exercise to enhance my post-production skills and you will find the songs here are a much better quality than previous recordings and as such are a better representation of my output as an artist.
