Ancient Imagery - 2007

This was my first album ever, and it shows! The idea here was to try and tell a small story through music and I did this in an art-rock style, most of this music was improvised as I recorded it so the themes are completely spontanious and I quite like the infancy of the album I see it more as a marker of the way I used to do things and I like to compare my post-production skills at present with this album as all I had originally was a little adapter which plugged my guitar straight inot the computer. So the recording was quite primative but I got a reasonable result out of it so here it is.

The story told in this album was that of an explorer who came to discover the remnants of this lost place. On this journey he climbs mountains to find their last refuge, travels in dark passage ways mark by ancient symbols before beholding the beauty of an undisturbed area of the lost city; the temple, bathed in golden light and shadowed by its cold stone walls. Only after leaving the temple does their sad history strike him and he recalls what this lost civilization must have been like.
